Caring Friends Meet in the Teachers Lounge on Tuesday, January 31st at 6:30pm. This is for everyone, especially those who signed up and are new. This has been a great ministry and helpful to our parishioners. Treats will be served!

Stipends for Mass Intentions A “Mass Stipend” refers to a mone-tary contribution offered for a Mass to be prayed for a certain intention. The uniform Mass stipend estab-
lished by the Bishops of the Province is now $15.00 per Mass. A stipend may be accepted for each Mass that is prayed. However, Mass inten-tions may not be dependent on this financial en-couragement.
2016 Contribution Statements were mailed out this past week.

The Sacrament of the Anointing of the Sick will be offered & the healing power of Jesus in the Eucharist will be emphasized during this Mass. Teams will be available following Mass to pray with you for spiritual, emotional, mental and/or physical healing. for students who will be preparing for the Sacrament of 1st Communion and their parents. Preparation booklets will be available in the Com-mons prior to the meeting. Cost is $15 per booklet.
Students MUST be accompanied by an adult.
GETTING MARRIED AT ST. MICHAEL CHURCH? Ann Gooley conducts a wedding planning workshop on the 1st Tuesday of each month. The next one will be Feb. 7th at 6:30pm in the Music Room (use Entrance C).
You MUST attend this workshop at least 3 months before your wedding. Call the parish office by Monday, February 6th to register, 361-1600. If no one is registered, that month’s workshop will be cancelled!
