SACRAMENT OF HOLY BAPTISM
PRE-BAPTISM CLASSES
Pre-Baptism classes will be held on Saturdays of every other month. Classes start at 10:00
am in the Dompka Education Center at St. Margaret Mary. The next class is scheduled on
Saturday, December 7, 2019
Call your parish o ce to register for the class and schedule the Baptism. All paper work
must be received at least 2 weeks prior to the Baptism.
Note: St. Catherine of Siena offers classes by appointment.
A godparent must be a baptized Catholic who is at least 16 years of age and received the
Sacraments of Holy Eucharist and Con�rmation, is in good standing with the Catholic
Church and is not the parent. If married, the sponsor must be in a valid marriage in the
Catholic Church and a registered, participating member of a parish. Call your parish o ce
for a sponsor letter.

HOLY MATRIMONY
Arrangements must be made with the Parish O�ce. Dates for marriage are scheduled only
through the Pastor/Administrator after the initial meeting with the couple that should be a
minimum of six (6) months before the wedding. Participation in a marriage program is
required. Pre-Cana is offered at St. Joseph . The next course swill be on Saturday, January

2019-2020 McGuire Memorial Home & St. Anthony School Programs
Knights of Columbus Bishop’s Project
The Knights of Columbus Annual Seals Project serving intellectually disabled and/or physically challenged
youth and adults in the St. Anthony Schools and McGuire Memorial Home will be held in October and No-
vember. Seals will be make available to all to use. All donations can be put in the pre-addressed envelope
(in the bulletin or at the entrances of the churches) and mailed. All monies go to the homes and please

Thank You for your continued generous support of our St Vincent DePaul Society St
Margaret Mary Conference. Over the past 13 months, your kindness has provided 300
people-in-need, which includes 100 children, with $32,560 in aid to assist with
housing ($18,460), utilities ($9,909), beds & furniture ($2,238), food ($988), and bus
fare & car repairs ($965). The second collection on November 10, using the church
envelopes “St Vincent DePaul”, will help sustain this effort. Make any checks payable
to St Margaret Mary Church. Thank you again for allowing God to work through you to
bless the poor in our midst.
8TH ANNUAL LUMINARIA SALE
PURCHASE LUMINARIA FOR A LOVED ONE
Your loved one’s name and/or picture will be printed on a special waterproof label on
the front of the Luminaria and will stay lit in the front courtyard for all to see until
Epiphany Sunday, January 5, 2020. A wonderful way to remember your loved ones
during the Advent and Christmas Seasons! Join us on Saturday, December 14th
after 5:30 pm Mass at St. Joseph for the 40 foot St. Lucy tree lighting, singing of
“Santa Lucia”, carol-sing and goodies. The Luminaria order form can be found on

ST. CATHERINE OF SIENA - Our Book of Deceased Loved Ones is on display at the
front of the altar. Please feel free to include any names of those who have gone
before us. The book will remain on the altar for the entire month of November.
ST. MARGARET MARY— Today we have the annual Book of Remembrance for those
loved ones you want remember during the month of November. The book is in the
baptistery near the candles until the end of November. We will remember those
names listed during our November liturgies.
ST. JOSEPH - Throughout the month of November, the names of your departed
loved ones may be entered into the Book of Remembrance that is displayed on the
podium in the front of the church.

November 9-10, 2019
Serving Those Who Serve
In November 2012, the United States Con-
ference of Catholic Bishops approved a
triennial National Collection for the AMS,
which was �rst taken in 2013 and again in
2016. The next National Collection for the
AMS is scheduled for the weekend of No-
vember 9-10, 2019.
There are envelopes in the vestibules of
the churches for the Archdiocese Military
Services for your donations. Thank you!

OCTOBER / NOVEMBER ST. VINCENT DE PAUL FOOD DRIVE
St. Catherine is collecting non-perishable food items for St. Vincent de Paul throughout
the months of October and November. Bins are at the doors of the church or you may
drop food items at the o�ce during regular hours (10:00-3:00). The food drive will
conclude at Thanksgiving. All proceeds bene�t our local chapter at Our Lady of Fatima
who helps countless families in our immediate area. Monetary contributions are also
welcome with checks being made to St. Vincent de Paul. As always, we thank you for
your support and for ful�lling your corporal work of mercy in feeding the hungry.

BENIFITTING ST. JUDE HOSPITAL
Remember to save your aluminum cans from graduation par-
ties and holidays. St. Catherine’s recycling project is year-
round. We have a matching program in place with the owner of
the recycling plant. Thank you for your dedication to this pro-
ject. When dropping off cans at St. Catherine, the receptacles are behind the
o�ce/parish house. We have made sizeable contributions to various charities
due to your participation! Together we ARE making a difference. Bene#ts St.

Siena Hall is available for your showers, Bap-
tism parties and various functions. The hall
holds approximately 100 people. The fee is a
mere $65.00 for parishioners of St. Catherine
of Siena, St. Joseph and St. Margaret Mary. All
others will be charged $130.00. If interested,

Homemade Spaghetti / Gnocchi Dinner

AMEN TO ACTION -For the third year, people of all faiths
are coming together for Amen to Action, a day of packing one
million meals for the hungry and an all-faith worship service.
Come on November 29, the day after Thanksgiving, to pack meals,

the David L. Lawrence Convention Center.
