Job Description

• Coordination with other service providers

• Monitoring access, progress, & success

• Annual accountability & planning.

Outreach & Recruitment

• Promote recruitment, enrollment & placement

• Provide information about CTE opportunities to students & parents

• Coordinate a CDP for students enrolled in CTE programs

Assessment & Prescription

• Identify students• Assess needs

through career interest & learning styles inventories

• Develop & implement the Special Populations portion of CDP+

• Participate in IEP process

• Coordinate special services

• Maintain special populations resources for students & teachers (if possible)

• Assist with transition services

• Provide guidance & career development activities

Coordination w/ Other Services

• Collaborate w/ CTE teachers

• Coordinate w/ agencies that can provide supplementary services

• Facilitate in-service training for those working w/ SP students

• Assist w/ the development/

• monitoring of CDP+• Coordinate work

experience & field trips

Access, Progress, Success

• Maintain records documenting access, progress & success

• Analyze data to determine how to maintain & improve

• Document the attainment of performance indicators for SP members

Annual Accountability & Planning

• Identify programs that need improvement

• Describe strategies to improve supplementary services

• Evaluate incentives & adjustments to determine if adequate services are being provided

• Maintain relevant recordkeeping & inventory related to job

• Coordinate w/ stakeholders to develop a Plan of Work
