First cycle (0 – 3 years). - Non-compulsory education. - In public or private kindergartens.

Second cycle(3 – 6 years). - Non-compulsory education. - A second language is introduced. - Fields of knowledge:

Own Knowledge and personal autonomy. Surrounding knowledge. Languages: comunication and representation.

Compulsory and free education (text books). A new subject called “Citizen Education and

Human Rights” is introduced in 5th level. There are two tests (in Andalusia): Scale Test: at the end of the first cycle. Diagnostic Test: at the end of the second cycle.

Compulsory and free education (text books). Subjects can be grouped in different options. Citizen Education. Second language (by election). Diagnostic Test ending 2nd level. School Schedule: 30 hours (from 08:00 a.m to 15:00 p.m).
