My project will be based around McLuhan's dictums that "the world is a global village" and the theme of the project is based on electronic mass media, which enables people to interact and live on a global scale. The project will focus on the rise of phone technology “smart phones”

Target Audience

The target audience which my product will be directed to will be people interested in the message about the world is a global village and people interested in the rise of mobile phone technologyThe target age for my product will be 12+

Technology I have used

I will be designing my product using Adobe Photoshop Pro CS5.5, Macromedia Flash MX / Professional 8, Dreamweaver CS5.5.

The website will demonstrate the rise of phone technology through the years showing its development of software, features and applications and explain how the improvement of new software and technology is bring the world closer, for example Skype, which allows users to communicate with peers by Free voice and video calls to anyone else on Skype
