Farmers in Western Canada may now purchase the complete portfolio of PRIDE Seed hybrid corn, soybean seeds and have access to agronomic resources only through the CANTERRA SEEDS retailer network in Manitoba, Saskatchewan and Alberta.
The PRIDE Seeds product line is derived from a global breeding and testing program, designed to develop and select best-in-class corn hybrids and soybean varieties. The breeding program uses a proprietary process called double haploid breeding, along with molecular marker technology, to identify the key characteristics in their top-performing seed.
PRIDE Seeds also conducts annual WATCH (Western Advanced Testing & Commercialization Hub) Trials in
partnership with farmers across the Prairies. These trials put corn hybrids through their paces in the Western Canadian environment, generating accurate performance results based on actual farming practices and growing conditions to help farmers make informed purchasing decisions.
Matching these best-in-class seed genetics with Western Canada-tested traits optimizes and mitigates many of the risks associated with crop production. Matching the strength of the CANTERRA SEEDS sales team with PRIDE Seeds performance-focused lines of silage corn hybrids, grain corn hybrids and soybeans delivers the most comprehensive seed portfolio to farmers in Western Canada.
CANTERRA SEEDS is proud to distribute PRIDE Seeds hybrid corn and soybean seed.

PRIDE TRSPRIDE Seeds goes beyond field appearance to ensure their hybrids deliver what matters most at harvest: yield, energy, digestibility, palatability and overall nutritional value. Their team can help you manage your crop from start to finish, from variety selection, agronomics, harvest and storage management, to helping you maximize the yield, quality potential and performance you need to improve the productivity of your herd investment. Maximize milk and meat production per acre with PRIDE TRS.
What is PRIDE TRS?PRIDE Total Ration Solutions (TRS) is the testing and information program we use to identify our best forage products. Alfalfa, together with Effective Digestible Fibre (EDF) and Effective Dual Purpose (EDP) silage hybrids, varieties and forage mixtures, are designed to meet the energy, digestibility and protein needs of dairy and beef operations today.
PRIDE TRS system identifies hybrids which maximize silage yield potential and quality. Hybrids are further segmented into two groups:
Effective Digestible Fibre (EDF) hybrids are silage specific and offer the advantage of high digestibility and palatability for improved feeding efficiency.
Effective Dual Purpose (EDP) hybrids offer consistent high energy and silage quality PLUS the flexibility to use as a grain hybrid depending on your operational needs.

Monsanto products are commercialized in accordance with ETS Product Launch Stewardship Guidance, and in compliance with Monsanto’s Policy for Commercialization of Biotechnology-Derived Plant Products in Commodity Crops. These products have been approved for import into key export markets with functioning regulatory systems. Any crop or material produced from these products can only be exported to, or used, processed or sold in countries where all necessary regulatory approvals have been granted. It is a violation of national and international law to move material containing biotech traits across boundaries into nations where import is not permitted. ALWAYS READ AND FOLLOW PESTICIDE LABEL DIRECTIONS. Roundup Ready 2 Xtend® soybeans contain genes that confer tolerance to glyphosate and dicamba. Agricultural herbicides containing glyphosate will kill crops that are not tolerant to glyphosate, and those containing dicamba will kill crops that are
not tolerant to dicamba. Contact your Bayer dealer or call the Bayer technical support line at 1-800-667-4944 for recommended Roundup Ready® Xtend Crop System weed control programs. Roundup Ready® technology contains genes that confer tolerance to glyphosate, an active ingredient in Roundup® brand agricultural herbicides. Agricultural herbicides containing glyphosate will kill crops that are not tolerant to glyphosate.
