Line items can be maintained in SRM or CLM (determined by configuration). If maintained in SRM, line items cannot be maintained in CLM. If maintained in CLM , line items will be replicated to SRM and then locked in SRM – no further changes are allowed in SRM and no new line items can be added in SRM.
