Round the clock with Mum

Who is Mum for you?

7:00-8:00

Mums get up, wash, dress, get us up, washed and dressed and eating breakfast... then brushing our teeth!

8:00-9:00

They pack our lunches, check we’ve packed our bags, take us to school, wave us off, then go off to their own work or list of busy things to do.

Some work at all kinds of jobs as well as shopping, cleaning, paying bills, washing and ironing. And some even walk the dog!

9:00-3:30

3:30-7:00 They come back from work, pick us up, help us with homework, play with us, cook our dinner and ask all about our day.

7:00-10:00

They make sure we’re locked in safe, wash up, read us stories, pray with us, tuck us up, see that we’re in bed with our teeth brushed...Then they may have other jobs to do, calls to make, meetings to go to or perhaps have time to watch TV before they get ready for bed themselves...

11:00-7:00

Finally – Mums get a rest!

And then they do it all over again!

Thank God for...

• how much our Mums love us

• all our Mums do to help us

• giving Mums today to put their feet up!
