OBJECTIVES

The student will be able to …• locate and name at least 80% of the parts of the

male and female reproductive systems.• describe the path of an egg (ovum) during

menstruation. Describe the path of a sperm during ejaculation.

• understand there is a wide range of “normal” anatomy.

PURPOSE OF THIS LESSON…

• Review information that many of you learned in earlier grades.

• Being well-grounded in knowledge about the reproductive system will help – you make sense of discussions later in the unit about

pregnancy, birth control, and sexually transmitted diseases.
