is for You

We, the unified faith community of OUR LADY OF FATIMA PARISH, include the churches of Saint Peter, Our Lady of Hope, Saint Michael, Holy Rosary and Immaculate Conception. We are a diverse, merged community with a long history of faith. 5

As a community of faith, we seek to worship together and grow with the sacraments as we nurture a love of Christ and one another.

As disciples of Christ through Catholic education we strive to help the youth and children explore, understand and practice their faith.

As a body of Christ, we are committed to evangelization through Catholic education and fellowship.

We seek to become a strong, active community rooted in charity.

Dear Friends, Today’s Scripture readings speak about the bond of love that marriage creates between a man and a woman, a bond that God wishes to be permanent. These readings challenge the spouses to practice the fidelity of their ever-faithful God, honoring their holy covenant commitment before Him. Let us remember three things that 1. Family is God's Design. God created family. God was born in a family. And God sanctified the family. 2. Family is a shared life! There should be more public space than private space in family. God is part of the family. 3. No Family is perfect. We need each other, for

we are imperfect. Christ has called us into a community. Let us reflect for a moment on the ties we have with one anoth-er because of our faith in Christ, to live happily and faithfully. Amen.

Our Lady of Fatima Parish Fall Festival

Fr. Joji, your Parish Council and CCW want to thank everyone who contributed to the success of this year’s Fall Festival. We could not have pulled this off without all the great help and donations. Thank you to the students who took part in the Living Rosary for Mass and a shout out to our Confirmation students and many of their parents for your hard work once again, especially since several of you also volunteered your services at Fun Night. And, of course, we are grateful for all who attended the family Mass and shared in the dinner and fellowship that followed.

May God richly bless you for all you do for your parish community!

MEALS ON WHEELS: November is Our Lady of Fatima’s turn for delivering Meals on Wheels! WE ARE IN NEED OF VOLUNTEERS! Please call Shirley Hastert at 776-4122 to volunteer for a week in November. Your help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

Respect for Life Collection This weekend, the Respect Life Collection is being conducted across the diocese. Brochures explaining the collection and an envelope to make your donation is placed in the pews. Please consider how you can make a difference!

Attention All summer floral arrangements must be removed
