Program Highlights
• PMR country programs have generated robust analytical and technical assessments thathave facilitated dialogue to advance the climate policy development process andimplement relevant mitigation policy instruments.
• In countries such as Jordan, Costa Rica and Côte d’Ivoire, other WB policy-basedactivities (e.g., Development Policy Financing Lending Operations) are built upon PMRcountry activities and outcomes to support the implementation of climate-related policyreforms. South Africa, Panama and Mexico are other PMR countries where such dialogueis taking place. A total of $2.6 billion funding is under discussion for the all the countries.

Regional Mitigation Cooperation on Carbon Pricing in ASEANObjective: Identify areas of regional mitigation cooperation with theuse of carbon pricing approach in ASEAN to achieve regional greengrowth and Member States’ individual NDC mitigation goals in cost-effective manner and make those goals more ambitious. .
Main activities• Review the existing analytical materials on carbon pricing
