Skilled youth form the building blocks of the Egyptian economy. Although a strong technical background is the focus of the academic and career world, an increasing number of employers’ desire prospective fresh graduates who possess strong "soft" skills and specialized technical competencies. Hence, it is extremely essential for graduates to develop essential soft skills as they enter the workforce, in addition being specialized in certain technical competencies.
Since Executive Education is keen to contribute to the development of future leaders to play a role in creating a better tomorrow through different activities and initiatives, Union Group and ExecEd are cooperating together through QEYADA Foundation to design and launch “Work Readiness” development program, which is a custom program aiming to prepare public universities fresh graduates with the knowledge and skills needed to perform efficiently in their individual career choices. This program is introduced through CxO - Corporate social responsibility task force activities.

Phase I: Soft Skills CompetenciesThroughout this phase which will be handled by ExecEd participant’s work ethics, attitude, communication skills, emotional intelligence and a whole host of other personal attributes will be developed and enhanced as those package of skills are crucial for career success. With these soft skills fresh graduates will be able to excel as future leader.
Phase II: Career AdvisingUpon successful completion of Phase One, participants will undergo Career Advising Sessions which will be conducted by Union Group will be able to sit down with career coaches who will identify each participant’s strengths and areas of development to better instruct them on what future path they should take in terms of career track. This phase is vital in assessing, based on participant’s aspirations and skills, where they would fit best in a corporation
Phase III: Specialized Training The final phase is the Specialization phase, throughout this phase ExecEd based on the psychometric test conducted will enable participants to understand the personality preference of each candidate and based on their referrals from the Career Advising Sessions, applicants will participate in rudimentary training in one of the technical tracks as mentioned below: A pre and post assessment will be conducted to assess the learning curve of the participants and the level of grasped knowledge.

Phase IV: Corporate Internships
Participants will be matched to internships at corporates according to their majors, to gain hands on experience and be aware of the corporate environment.
