DINING OPTIONS TO MATCH ANY MOOD
On tonight's menu? A signature Princess® pasta – served with freshly-prepared sauces. Or perhaps grilled halibut, perfectly complimented by a chilled glass of chardonnay. Another night, it could be homemade Italian pizza by the pool. That's the beauty of dining on a Princess ship – there's always something to match whatever your mood might be.
YOUR CHOICE OF ANYTIME OR TRADITIONAL DININGA sumptuous variety of dining options awaits you on every voyage. Princess offers you the choice of Traditional Dining with fixed time and seating, or Anytime Dining with the flexibility to dine when and with whom you choose.
TRADITIONAL DINING is the classic cruise experience, allowing you to dine at set times with the same table mates and wait staff each evening.
ANYTIME DINING* offers more flexibility, giving you the freedom to dine with whom you choose, anytime between 5:30pm and 10pm in a selection of elegant, upscale restaurants.
Both options offer menus featuring creatively-prepared appetizers, entrees and desserts that change each day of your voyage - as well as several healthy Lotus Spa selections.*Not available on Sun, Dawn, and Sea Princess (while in Australia), Ocean, or Pacific Princess.
OTHER DINING OPTIONSPOOLSIDE OPTIONSOut on deck, enjoy a fresh, cooked-to-order hamburger, chicken sandwich or hot dog from the grill, or opt for a freshly-baked slice of hand-tossed pizza. Or grab a cone of ice cream at our ice cream bar.
AFTERNOON TEAIndulge in afternoon tea with finger sandwiches, pastries, scones, cookies, music and white-glove service. Enjoy a wide selection of premium teas — from Earl Grey to herbal infusions. And of course there's coffee, if you prefer.
PUB LUNCH*Step into the Wheelhouse Bar on board for a taste of British tradition. You'll find a menu of favourites advertised on chalkboards and displayed on counters for an authentic pub feel including fish & chips or a hearty Ploughman's Lunch.
ROOM SERVICEYou may call for personal, complimentary room service at any time of the day or night. The room service menu includes sandwiches, salads, a selection of hot dishes and delicacies from the pastry shop. Plus, coffee, iced tea and milk are available 24-hours a day!
*Locations may vary from ship to ship.

ALASKA
When is the best time of year to visit Alaska? You can’t go wrong visiting Alaska anytime between May and September. The days are long & nature is in full bloom. Peak season is mid-June to mid-August.
What clothing would I take when going to Alaska?Alaska is very casual both in the evenings, as well as the day. Casual, active sportswear is the best option, as you will likely be enjoying tours and activities outdoors. You’ll want comfortable clothes and good walking shoes, and the ability to be layered for everything from sunny afternoons to chilly nights. As the weather can be unpredictable, a warm jacket is advisable.
When is the best time to see wildlife?Early June there is more wildlife viewing as young are born, and migrating to better feeding areas in the summer. If you are interested in seeing other wildlife such as Moose, Dall sheep, Arctic Fox, mountain goats and bears, try to extend your stay to include a few nights in Anchorage or Denali National Park. Whales can usually be seen June through September. You may see Humpback, Orcas, Sea Otters, Beavers, Dolphin & Porpoises.
What is mobile phone/wireless signal like?Given the areas through which you will be travelling, wireless reception may be limited or in some cases, non-existent. Please take this into consideration prior to your departure so that your family and friends are aware.
Can I see a glacier close up?Cruise ships carry their passengers close to glaciers in Glacier Bay National Park, at Hubbard Glacier near Yakutat and Columbia Glacier near Valdez.
Which side of the ship is best for viewing glaciers? While we can understand that one may think that the right side of the ship (starboard side) is better for scenery on a Northbound cruise and the left side (port side) better on a Southbound cruise but this isn’t true. When cruising the Inside Passage, there is scenery on both sides of the ship and when you are entering the fjords in Alaska, the viewing will be equally good from both sides of the ship over the duration of your cruise vacation. In other words, during your cruise, you’ll see scenery from both sides of the ship.

Review submitted at www.cruise.co.uk by: Huntley, Gravesend on 23rd April 2012
What a fantastic holiday we had. The group of 22 people who met at Beijing really jelled which made our cruise even better as there was always someone to chat to.
The China part of the holiday was excellent-nothing was too much trouble for the tour operator. The national guide Cynthia, and the local guides Jason, Beijing and Arran in Xian all spoke excellent English and were very informative. Strangely the day in Beijing most of us thought the best was the visit to the park for our Tai Chi lesson and to watch all the locals enjoy keep fi t sessions.

ROYAL PRINCESS & REGAL PRINCESS
ARRIVING IN 2013 & 2014Every detail of Royal Princess & Regal Princess has been designed to enhance the atmosphere of which Princess Cruises’ loyal passengers have grown accustomed.
SHIP HIGHLIGHTS
From the spectacular Atrium — now over 50% larger than Princess Cruises’ other ships’ Atriums and featuring exciting new eateries — to materials and finishes specifically chosen to reflect the warmth and sophistication that’s synonymous with Princess Cruises, to exciting new venues like the SeaWalkSM — a glass-bottom walkway extending 28 feet beyond the edge of the ship and 128 feet above the ocean, Royal Princess and Regal Princess are sure to impress. Whether you want a romantic, intimate space or a lively experience with new friends, these new ships have everything you need to escape completely.
The SanctuaryLeave stress at the door when you enter The Sanctuary, a blissful signature haven just for adults. This sought after oasis of tranquility features private cabanas with refrigerators and flat-screen TVs — exclusively on Royal/Regal Princess. Simply reserve one of these new cabanas for your own personal dose of relaxation as Serenity Stewards serve you spa fare and refreshing drinks.
Lotus Spa®
When you’re not indulging in a massage, facial or other relaxing treatment, check out what’s new in the Lotus Spa on Royal Princess. An exclusive area of the spa, The Enclave at Lotus SpaSM, offers warm stone beds and a soothing hydro pool in addition to airbed recliners, neck and body massage jets and circular rain showers that alleviate stress almost instantly.
Bars & LoungesSoak up the lively atmosphere of the Atrium with adelicious cocktail in a new Italian-inspired Bellini Bar. Or, return to the comfort of familiar favorites nearby like Crooner’s or Wheelhouse Bar.
PoolsA new adults-only pool is surrounded by plush private cabanas that appear to be floating on the water. Two additional pools flank a tropical island that will offer pool seating by day, and by night will become an outdoor dance club.
Princess Live!A first at sea, Princess Live! is a TV studio presenting broadcast-ready events including interactive culinary shows, live concerts, late night comedy and game shows.
Sports & FitnessGet a workout in the state-of-the art fitness center. Or for those who like to be in the great outdoors, head up to the Sports Court and jogging track on Deck 18 — which also features a circuit of outdoor exercise equipment.
Youth & Teen CentersPassengers ages 3 to 17 will enjoy many exciting on board activities. There’s everything from dedicated outdoor spaces, to video game stations, a large movie screening area, arts and crafts, and a DJ booth!
Movies Under the Stars®
Princess Cruises’ signature outdoor theater returns to Royal & Regal Princess with a high-definition screen that’s twice the size of the screens on previous ships. And don’t miss another new feature — a dazzling water and light show at Fountain Pool’s tropical island.
Princess TheaterTake your seat in the enhanced Princess Theater for signature production shows and high-impact entertainers in the evening, with special enrichment presentations and a premium movie experience during the daytime.
Vista LoungeChoose from diverse activities including enrichment lectures, popular fine art auctions, and live dance bands in the Vista Lounge — offering comfortable seating, exceptional entertainment, and cutting-edge lighting and sound.
