EARTHQUAKE.

According to the Merriam-Webster dictionary, an earthquake can be defined as a shaking or trembling of the earth at its volcanic or tectonic origin.

BEFORE.

The population of the Republic of Haiti before the eathquake….

Aftershocks are smaller earthquakes that follow larger earthquakes.

There were 52 aftershocks recorded from January 12 to January 24, 2010.

Among the many buildings destroyed in Haiti, the headquarters of the United Nations Stabilization Mission in Haiti (MINUSTAH) collapsed.

Killing many.

DEATH.

There were so many corpses from the disaster, they had to begin burying people in mass graves.

DESTRUCTION.

Buildings fall one by one as the love waves continue to radiate from the epicenter.
