Preliminary measures
1.Alwayswearsturdy,non-slipfootwearandlongtrouserswhenmowing.Nevermowbarefootorinsandals.
2.Checkthegroundsonwhichthemachinewillbeusedandremoveallobjectsthatcouldbecaughtupandviolentlyflungoutofthechute.
3.Warning:Petrolishighlyflammable!Therefore:-Onlystorepetrolincontainersdesignedtoholdpetroleum-basedliquids.-Onlyrefueloutintheopenanddonotsmokeduringtherefuelingprocess.-Alwaysrefuelthelawnmowerbeforestartingtheengine.Alwaysensurethatthefueltankcapisclosedwhentheengineisrunningandwhenthemowerishot;alsodonotrefuel.-Ifpetrolhasoverflowed,donotunderanycircumstancesattempttostarttheengine.Instead,removethemachinefromtheaffectedarea.Avoidstartingtheengineuntilthepetrolfumeshavecompletelyevaporated.-Forsafetyreasons,thepetroltankandothertankclosuresmustbereplacediftheyaredamaged.
4.Replacedefectivemufflers.
5.Beforeusingthemower,visuallyinspectittoensurethattheblade,mountingboltsandtheentirecuttingapparatusareingoodworkingorder(i.e.notwornoutordamaged).Topreventanyimbalance,replacewornoutordamagedbladesandmountingboltsasasetonly(ifapplicable).

10.Neverusethelawnmowerifthebladeorsafetygrillesaredamaged,orwithouttheattachedguards,e.g.deflectorsand/orgrasscatchingdevices.
11.Donotadjustoroverclocktheenginespeedsettings.
12.Releasetheenginebrakebeforeyoustarttheengine.
13.Starttheenginewithcare,inaccordancewiththemanufacturer’sinstructions.Makesurethatyourfeetarefarenoughawayfromthemowerblade!
14.Donottiltthelawnmowerwhenyoustarttheengineunlessthemowermustraisedoffofthegroundalittleinordertostartit.Inthelattercase,tiltthemoweraslittleasabsolutelynecessaryandonlyraisethesideoppositetothatoftheuser.
15.Neverstarttheenginewhilestandinginfrontofthechute.
16.Neverputyourhandsorfeetnearorunderanyrotatingparts.Keepclearofthechuteopeningatalltimes.
17.Neverliftorcarryalawnmowerwiththeenginerunning.
18.Switchofftheengineandpullthesparkplugboot:-beforeyoudislodgeanyblockagesorclogsinthechute.-beforecarryingoutanychecks,cleaning,maintenanceorotherworkonthelawnmower-ifthelawnmowerstrikesaforeignbody,examineitforsignsofdamageandcarryoutanynecessaryrepairsbeforerestartingandcontinuingtoworkwiththemower.Ifthelawnmowerbeginstoexperienceexceptionallystrongvibrations,immediatelyswitchitoffandcheckit.
19.Switchofftheengine:-whenyouleavethelawnmower.-beforeyourefuel.
20.Whenyouswitchofftheengine,movethespeedlevertotheOffposition.Closethepetrolstopcock.
21.Operationofthemachineathigherthannormalspeedcanleadtoanincreasedriskofaccidents.
22.Takecarewhencarryingoutinstallationworkonthemachine,andavoidtrappingfingersbetweenthebladeandthefixedpartsofthemachine.

Thepetrollawnmowerisintendedforprivateusei.e.foruseinhomeandgardeningenvironments.
Privateuseofthelawnmowerrefersanannualoperatingtimegenerallynotexceedingthatof50hours,duringwhichtimethemachineisprimarilyusedtomaintainsmall-scale,residentiallawnsandhome/hobbygardens.Publicfacilities,sportinghalls,andagricultural/forestryapplicationsareexcluded.
Please note that our equipment has not been designed for use in commercial, trade or industrial applications. Our warranty will be voided if the machine is used in commercial, trade or industrial businesses or for equivalent purposes.

Assembly
1.Takethemowerandattachmentpartsoutofthepackagingandcheckthatallpartsarepresent(Fig.2).
2.Affixthelowerpushbar(Fig.3a/Item5)tothemowerhousingandsetthedesiredworkingheight.3differentworkingheightsareavailable.Eachpegonthelowerpushbarcanbeinsertedintoaholesituateddirectlyoppositetoit,onthemowerhousing,forexampleA-A(Fig.3).Thelowerpushbarmustbeequallyadjustedonbothsides.Nowaffixthecover(Fig.3a/Item20)andattachthepushbar(5)usingthesquareheadscrews(14)andthestarknobs(17)asshowninFigure3a.
3.Fastenthetoppushbartothebottompushbarusingalevercamscrew(Fig.3b/Item15)andastarknob(Fig.3b/Item17)oneachside.Makesurethatthelobesofthelevercamscrewsarefoldedtowardstheinsidesothatthehighspeedclampingfunctionremainsoperational.

Assembly

5.2 Setting the cutting height

-Pulltheadjustorleveroutandselectthedesiredcuttingheight.Theleversnapsintothedesiredposition.

Inordertoavoidanyunintentionalstart-upsofthelawnmower,itcomesequippedwithanenginebrake(Fig.5a/Item1)whichmustbepulledbackbeforetheenginecanbestarted.Whentheenginecontrolleverisreleaseditmustreturntoitsinitialposition,atwhichpointtheengineautomaticallyswitchesoff.
Youcancontroltherotationspeedofthebladeusingthespeedlever(Fig.6).
Beforeyoustartmowing,youshouldrunthroughthisoperationseveraltimesinordertoensurethatthemachineisworkingproperly.
Wheneveryouneedtoperformanykindofadjustmentand/orrepairworkonyourlawnmower,waituntilthebladehascometoacompletestop.
Alwaysswitchofftheenginebeforecarryingoutanyadjustments,maintenanceorrepairs.

Regularlychecktoseeifthebladeissecurelyattached,isingoodconditionandissharp.Ifthecontraryisthecase,sharpenthebladeorreplaceit.Intheeventthatthebladestrikesanobject,immediatelyswitchoffthelawnmowerandwaitforthebladetocometoacompletestop.Theninspecttheconditionofthebladeandtheblademount.Replaceanypartsthataredamaged.
Tips for proper mowing:

6.4 Emptying the collection bag
Assoonasgrassclippingsstarttotrailthelawnmower,itistimetoemptythecollectionbag.Important!Beforetakingoffthegrasscollectionbag,switchofftheengineandwaituntilthebladehascometoastop.
Totakeoffthegrasscollectionbag,useonehandtoliftupthechuteflapandtheothertograbontothegrasscollectionbaghandle(Fig.4).Removethegrasscollectionbag.Forsafetyreasons,thechuteflapautomaticallyfallsdownafterremovingthegrasscollectionbagandclosesofftherearchuteopening.Ifanygrassremainsintheopening,itwillbeeasiertorestarttheengineifyoupullthemowerbackapprox.1metre.
Donotuseyourhandsorfeettoremoveclippingsinoronthemowerhousing,butinsteadusesuitabletoolssuchasabrushorahandbroom.Ensurethatboththeengineandthebladearestoppedbeforeattemptingtoremoveclippingsanddebris.
Inordertoensurethatthemajorityofgrassclippingsarepickedup,theinsideofboththecatchbagandespeciallytheairgrillmustbecleanedaftereachuse.
Re-attachthecatchbagonlywhentheengineisswitchedoffandthebladeisstopped.
Usingonehand,liftupthechuteflap,whilegrabbingontothegrasscollectionbaghandlewiththeother.Hookonthegrasscollectionbagfromthetop.(seeFig.4).
6.5 After mowing
1.Allowtheenginetocoolbeforeyouputthelawnmowerinanenclosedarea.
2.Removegrass,foliage,greaseandoilbeforestoringthemower.Donotplaceanyobjectsontopofthemower.
