STUDY PROGRAM OF DENTISTRY
PEO-ILO MAPPING
The Program Educational Outcomes (PEOs) are classified into 7 competency areas. Seven competency
areas are adopted from the National Standard Competencies of Indonesian Dentist (SKDGI) and IQF; developed
longitudinally under the implementation of the Competency-Based Curriculum; aligned with the vision and
mission of BSPD-FDUB. The PEOs cover: (1) Dental healthcare provider, (2) Decision maker, (3)
Communicator, (4) Community Leader, (5) Manager, (6) Researcher, 7) Innovator. PEOs are distributed in
Competency-Based Courses (Intended Learning Outcomes/ILOs) in the matrix of PEOs. Intended Learning
Outcomes (ILOs) and Competency-Based Courses (MKK).

the family and community, and who provides quality comprehensive care
within the scope of a doctor-patient relationship that is based on trust and
mutual benefit

improving health services that are feasible and affordable for the
community

Communicator Able to motivate to improve a healthy lifestyle by providing effective and
appropriate education in a socio-cultural and economic context, so that the

Able to know the health needs of individuals and groups and gain

accordance with advances in science and technology, in the field of dental

ILOs Intended Learning Outcomes (ILOs)
ILO 1 Able to comprehensively apply basic medical science, basic dental science, clinical medicine, and
clinical dental science in making appropriate decisions to solve dental and oral health problems.
ILO 2
Able to demonstrate clinical skills, including history taking, clinical examination, interpretation skills,
procedural skills, information communication skills, and education in the prevention, treatment, and
rehabilitation of dental and oral diseases.
ILO 3 Able to analyze individuals' dental and oral health problems to establish a diagnosis and establish
a comprehensive treatment plan.
ILO 4 Able to analyze community dental and oral health problems to prepare community assessments and
organize public health programs
ILO 5 Able to implement management functions and develop strategies for implementing practical
management and management in the dental work environment considering social aspects.
ILO 6 Able to apply medical ethics and law as well as human rights relevant to the practice of dentistry.
ILO 7 Able to apply scientific methods and evidence-based dentistry and innovate in the context of the
development or implementation of dental science and present the results orally and in writing.
ILO 8 Able to develop themselves, expand and deepen their knowledge according to the principles of life-
long learning and professionalism in dentistry.
