It Encourages Teamwork PDHPE classes promote teamwork and

good sportsmanship between the children and their peers. It is important for them to develop these teamwork skills for the interactions they will face in later life.

It helps the students to develop their social skills and teaches them what is acceptable and unacceptable.

It makes them aware of the feelings and attitudes of others.

It Promotes Individuality PDHPE is an excellent subject to promote

the individual brilliance and unique features of each child in that class, and encourages them to discover and develop an identity for themselves.

It encourages the children to set goals and make their own individual progress.

It Encourages Acceptance of all Cultural Backgrounds

PDHPE is not just about athletic ability, but the acceptance of all children regardless of cultural differences.
