Three days 1800 hours, two days prior to start of proposed Outage

Four to eight days 1800 hours, three days prior to start of proposed Outage

Nine to 45 days Five Business days after submission. Outages are automatically accepted if not rejected at the end of the fifth Business Day following receipt of request.

Greater than 45 days ERCOT must accept, but may discuss reliability and scheduling to minimize cost.

Outage Coordination Maintenance Timeline

Definition: Initiated manuallyto remove equipment fromservice to perform work on components than could be postponed briefly but is required to prevent potential forced outage and cannot be postponed until the next planned outage.

Level 1: Applies to equipment which must be removed from service within 24 hours. (M1)

Level 2: Identifies equipment which must be removed from service within 7 days. (M2)

Level 3: Applies to equipment which must be removed from service within 30 days. (M3)

To update an outage email the most up-to-date form with the new updated information added.

Approved Outages can be withdrawn any time before it is completed.

Planned transmission outages are always studied.
