Set the course to Global Access

Allow any students to join the course. Useful for non-preregistered students.

Using course URL for access

① Click “Site Info”

The site URL allows your students to access your

course directly. If you enabled “Global Access”,

this URL lets non-preregistered students to access

the course.

Changing the site/course language

② Click “Edit Site Information”

① Click “Site Info”

This allows your students to view this site

(your course) in English by default.

①Select “English”

② Click “Continue”

How to start a forum

② Click “Site Info”

① Select a course

④ Tick “Forums”

⑤ Click “Continue”

⑥ Click “Finish”

⑦ Click “Create a forum”

⑧ Enter a forum title

⑨ Click “Save”

⑩ Click “New Topic”

If you use this forum for Q & A of your weekly class , you are

going to create a new topic weekly (once a week).

⑪ Enter a forum title

⑫ Click “Save”

If you use this forum for Q & A of your weekly class , it is

convenient if the title includes the date on which your lecture

is conducted.

How to post a message in the forum

① Click a topic

② Click “Start a New Conversation”

③ Enter title and message

Message posted

If another student posts a message by

clicking “Start a New Conversation”, a

new post will be added below.

Teachers/students can reply to the message.

How to use NUSS (Nagoya University Storage Service)

If a file size is bigger than 250MB, you can’t upload it on

NUCT. Instead, upload it on NUSS and place the shared link

on NUCT.
