DCN NO. T39817APAGE 2 OF 9
BLOCK 16 (CON'I'INUED)PROBLEM SOLUTION APPROVED CHANGE(INCLUDEBASIS FOR APPROVAL)
DCN T39817A includes the modifications to the USI A<6 Program outliers. Outliers from theBrowns Ferry Nuclear Plant USI AA6 Seismic Evaluation Report Rev. 0, Appendix G (R92960624 850) are identified on the attached table (seven pages). Modifications have beenprovided on the attached DCAs to qualify the identified A-46 outlier equipment to the applicabledesign criteria.
The connecting ofadjacent equipment/panels, the Diesel Generator (Unit 1/2) relay panels, Panel0-9-23-8 to the 120V AC plant preferred distribution panel and the 250V Battery Charger 2A to2B, was used to eliminate the interaction between them. Details shown on the DCAs. usedsimilar vendor details found on similar panels thus, there are no calculations required for thesechanges. Also, the breaker (4KVSHDN BD A, B, C, D) racking wrench was removed Rom theboards and hung low on the adjacent wall thus, the interaction was eliminated and no calculationwas required.
These modifications have no effect on the pipe rupture evaluation.
No impacts or prerequisites are associated with DCN T39817A.
