With the help of residents of the
Medomak Mobile Home Cooperative, the
Library installed a Little Library for the
residents to use and enjoy. The intent is
to create a neighborhood book swap cen-
ter for those who enjoy reading but can’t
get to the library. We hope to install a
few more around town.
Many thanks to volunteer Fred Bischoff
for building this.
This is the 75th anniversary of the attack on Pearl Harbor. The
original paper declaring this, and 14 others from World War II,
will be on display in the Library’s halls in January and February.
Many thanks to Dan and Suzanne Goldenson for this generous
loan and making a piece of history come alive for us.
Upcoming artists and displays:
March: Pictorial celebrating the “new” library’s 10th anniversary.
April: Miller School and Medomak Middle School students
May: MVHS students
June: Tania Amazeen-Jones
The Annual Silent Auction will have a
new format this year. For years, the ‘Love Your Library’ auc-
tion has been in February. This year, we will be combining the silent auction
with a live auction event on July 8. From now until then, the Library will be collecting items for the auc-
tion such as furniture, art, firearms, boats, collections of items such as stamps, etc. in addition to the usual
offerings of gift certificates, services, and an assort-
ment of goods. If you have something you would like to donate, please call the Library at 832-4484.
