-is the oldest of our protected areas-was founded in 1949 in the north of Slovakia -it covers the high-mountain area of the Tatras -it was established as the first of its kind in Slovakia-with its Polish part, the High Tatras constitute the UNESCO Biosphere Reserve since 1993.Location:

• TANAP contains mountain and high mountain plants and wonderful flora. And also rare animal species live here.

• National park of Pieniny ( PIENAP) -is the smallest of Slovak National parks

-it is the second oldest park in Slovakia-it stretches on the border with Poland; the river Dunajec passes through it. -it is possible to hire a raft and admire the wonderful scenery of the Park navigating down the river.

●This Park is rich in rare species of plants with several localendemits. Also the fauna cover 766 species of butterflies.

● It is recommend to visit tallest top – Tri Koruny on the polish side of the Park. We can admire these rocks rafting down the river.

• National park of Poloniny

-it is the most eastern Slovak National park-in 1993 was added to the UNESCO list of world natural heritages - it is situated on slovak-polish-ukrainien borderland

● The rareness of this Park is that there are the biggest areas of beech-fir woods in Europe. And also there are lots of big beasts.

• Belianska cave-it is situated in Tatras-it belongs among first caves in Europe, where electric light was installed-it is an altitude of 890 metres above sea level-the tour of cave takes about 70 minutes-there is the space called Music Hall, where are concerts of reproduced music every year in august
