The May Meeting will

be at the Newark

Valley Railroad De-

pot Museum. The

date and time are

May 20, 2013 at 7:00

PM. Yes, we are start-

ing our summer sea-

son and it is time to

get our cars out of

their winter slumber.

See you at the Depot

with your favorite

car! By the time of

this meeting we will

have just returned

The bad news is that

we have determined

that the club trailer

has reached the end

of it’s lifetime. The

repairs that it needs

would only put off

the need for more by

next year. (see pic-

tures page two)

The Good news is

that we have re-

ceived the donation

of a better trailer

that will hold up for

several years use. The

new trailer will need

to have a box added

as it is an open 4x8,

but there is room in

the design for the

box to increase to

5’6” wide and almost

9’ long. This new

trailer has full sized

tires that will make

the towing easier and

also there is poten-

tial for a more pro-

fessional appearance

to the whole. We an-

ticipate the cost of

the upgrade will be

in the $500.00 range.

The old trailer will

be scrapped and we

would like to collect

your old scrap metal

to help finance the

building of the new

one.

If you have some old

metal lying around

that you will donate

to the cause call Bob,

Rich, Joe, or Brett to

arrange for pick-up.
