Where you sit today, sat other people in the late 1960s. People that loved their fast life, smokes and good beer. Great
music, card games and taking it day by day was the rule at this time. First, it was the Cozy Lounge, much later a
different owner made his claim for a few years before a couple gents named Jim and Dick took the reins and renamed
it JD’s Lounge in the late 1990s. It continued as a bar for the faithful workingman during the week and the weekend
patron that wanted to let it all out. As we stand today the new Cozy has been transformed into a tavern that will take
you back to the beginning and throw you into the future simultaneously. Sit back, relax and allow us to challenge your
culinary tastes and cool you off with your favorite beer or spirits……..

Dry aged beef is hung in coolers to age for at least 30 days
where the moisture in the meat is allowed to escape. Evaporation shrinks the beef, concentrating its flavor as it
softens the meat. Additionally, the proteins and fats go through a transformation as well. The result is superb beef
with an extraordinarily rich flavor and buttery texture.
