Community Forums Activation- OLX

• OLX had an amazingly high awareness level

of 98% but low usage of 2%. OLX sought

ways of matching usage to awareness

through direct to consumer engagement

activities.

• We managed to get over 65,000 people

register and list and item on OLX. This led to:

• Increased lister base

• Increased return listing by users

• More awareness on safety during

online interaction

• We built a mobile app for brand

ambassadors to upload every listing

acquired on-the-go

• Data verification would happen instantly

and give agency feedback on validity

• Backend would analyse and give agencies

Daima was repositioning from a small family business to a mainstream

brand. Through consumer engagement, we came up with strategies and

tactics around getting the brand into peoples mouths as the first years

sole objective.

Our main tactics were to:

• Make the brand modern, young and energetic

• Aggressive Sampling through general trade, modern retail, special

events and fairs as well as institutions marketing

• Penetration strategy through listing and distribution tactics

Within the 1st year of our activities, Daima became the leading

product under the thick yoghurt category.
