“New Hire” CV Entry Process
MBM Office is structured to handle the historical entry of CV’s for new hire faculty
On the 1st of each month we generate a list of newly hired full-time track faculty for the prior month • Faculty Tracks: Clinical/(Clinical), Lecturer, Research, Tenure, Visitor
We email faculty soliciting their CV’s
We enter faculty member’s CV
We meet with faculty member to review the CV system and other MBM applications (Find A Researcher, Find A Doc, …)
At that point we transition responsibility for the CV to the faculty and the departments to keep them current going forward

New “Early Entry” Request Form
Alternatively, if the department chooses, we can enter the Faculty member’s CV prior to their appointment to help get the CV in the correct SOM format
SOM Process:1. Submit the New Hire Early Entry Request Form (fully filled out) to Jennifer Allie in the Faculty
Administration office via: – Email (Jennifer.Allie@hsc.utah.edu) or – Campus Mail (Faculty Administration Office SOM 1C 109). [Faculty Administration will enter the name into the system as “for CV purposes only” with an
inactive status until the appointment is complete]
2. Email the individual’s current CV in Word form to brooke.peay@hsc.utah.edu for entry. [Do not worry about putting the CV in the correct SOM format---that’s what we’ll do by
entering the info into the system]
MBM will be notified when the faculty member’s name has been entered into the system, then we will let you know when the CV entry is complete
Once the faculty member has arrived, we will schedule a meeting with him or her to show them the system, etc.
