Microsoft Excel has a toolbar also known as a “ribbon” which has different tabs.

These tabs have different tools available.

Creating formulas in Excel may be confusing when beginning. This

section will give you the basics in using formulas to add and subtract.

Creating Formulas

Creating a chart is simple once you get to know it.

It is a nice way to represent your data visually. The first step to creating your chart is to

ensure you have the data set in the correct way.

The image to the right shows a basic example of this.

I have 2 headings, Item and Price. I then have a list of 4 items and 4 prices.

I then select all that data by dragging the left mouse button (as mentioned in the first video).

And then I go to Insert -> Column (depending on what chart style you want) and then I chose a 2-D Column.
