BIOGRAPHY
He was born in Madrid (1887) and died in
France (1927).
His real name was José Victoriano
González-Pérez.
He was a Spanish painter and sculptor
who lived and worked in France most of
his life.
ARTISTIC MOVEMENT
Cubism: artistic period from 20th century.
The pioneers were Pablo Picasso and
Georges Braque.
Characteristics:
Uses geometric figures
• Still lifes, landscapes and portraits
are the main topic:
• Using colours like grey, green
and brown.
