• Submit all specified data (student and systemic) through the secured portal to CDE.

• Mail hard copies of:– District Special Education Self-Review

Assurances (SESR Form 2)– Monitoring the Implementation of the Local

Plan (Form 3)– Policies and Procedures Noncompliant

Items (Form 4)

WHAT’S NEXT?

AFTER all required data is submitted:

• CDE will review submitted data for accuracy and completeness.

• When data is accepted as submitted:– District will receive a 2007-08 SESR

Successful Submission letter.– The 45-day (student) and 6 mos. (systemic)

timelines for completing corrective actions start from the date posted on the Successful Submission letter.

Submitting CA Evidence to CDE

(After the Initial Successful Submission)

• The district will document evidence of CA in the software.

• The district will submit evidence of correction through the secure portal.

• Evidence of student CA must be received within 45 business days of the date on the Successful Submission letter.

• Evidence of systemic CA must be received within 6 mos. of the date on the Successful Submission letter.

After the District receives the Successful Submission Letter from

CDE:

• Correct the student level corrective actions within 45 days, and

• Correct 3 of the 4 step Systemic Corrective actions within 6 months.
