About J-Leap...This program brings Japanese Language teaching assistants to the U.S. K-12 educational institutions to strengthen their Japanese language programs as well as creating opportunities to nurture a new generation of qualifies teachers of Japanese language. The program has begun in 2011 and is jointly administrated by The Japan Foundation and The Laurasian Institution.

dress for success

Important Reminder for StudentsStudents, the following items must be left in your locker at the beginning of each school day:• Backpacks• Skateboards/scooters• Head attire (head attire for religious purposes is permitted)

Also, during the school day you are required to follow a fairly simple dress code. The idea is that, for the six hours of the school day, you respect each other and the staff members by dressing appropriately for learning. The following items are not allowed:• Sagging pants• Spaghetti straps or exposed bra straps• Shirts that expose the midriff or cleavage• Shorts and skirts (with or without leggings) shorter than your fingertips when your arms are

down• Sunglasses (inside the building)

If you cannot abide by these rules, you will be asked to change your clothes or you will be sent home. Students – dress for success!
