Shutter speed is the amount of time that the shutter is open. Shutter speed is measured in seconds. The bigger the denominator the faster speed in 1/1000 is much fast than 1/30. To freeze movement in an image you’ll want to choose a faster shutter speed. To let the movement blur you’ll want to choose a slower shutter speed.

SHUTTER SPEED

FAST SHUTTER SPEED

F= 5,6ISO= 1001/1000 seg

In this photo our goal was to freeze the movement of the water, so, we have used a fast shutter speed.

SLOW SHUTTER SPEED

F= 20ISO= 1001/3 seg

In this photo we can see the cars moving and the mountain with no movement , the only thing that we have done to get this goal is use a slow shutter speed.

ISOISO measures the sensitivity of the image sensor.Higher ISO settings are generally used in darker situations to get faster shutter speeds.

HIGH ISOAs we can see in this photo we have used high ISO to achieve light to this picture.

F= 4,8ISO= 16001/5 seg

LOW ISOThis photo was taken with the same conditions of the other photo, but here we have used a low ISO, so the photo is dark.

F= 4,8ISO= 1001/5 seg

APERTUREAperture is the size of the opening in the lens when a picture is taken.

LARGE APERTUREThis photo we want that the first grass leaf have a good image but the other grass appear blurry, to achieve this we have used a large aperture.

F= 25ISO= 1001/500 seg

SMALL APERTUREIn this photo we want that the persons and the trees that appeared, can see with the same conditions, to achieve this we have used a very small aperture.

F= 5,6ISO= 1001/640 seg
