Core Objectives1) Support, strengthen and empower Fiji women, in particular those engaged in fisheries.2) Support and/or evaluate pilot fisheries project for women, men and communities.3) Support research that contributes to sustainable fisheries, livelihoods and food security, and effective national policy.4) Conduct policy and advocacy campaigns amongst researchers, activists in women in fisheries work, as well as policy makers.5) Provide a forum and network to support and build expertise in the field of women in fisheries.6) Effectively disseminate information on the role of women in fisheries and sustainable fisheries methods and approaches.
