Comrat State University (CSU) is a new higher educational institution in Moldova and was founded in 1991 in Gagauzia – the Autonomy established in 1994 after the Parliament of Moldova adopted the Law On Special Legal Status

of Gagauzia

CSU is a dynamically developing universityaimed at providing the southern region ofMoldova with highly qualified specialists.It consists of 4 Faculties –

16 Departments that give training on 38specialties. Teaching staff of the Universityincludes of 7 professors, 33 doctors andassociate professors, 95 professor- assistant and74 university lecturers. Educational process inthe University is organized in full- time and part-time courses.
