ject Based on Exchange (PBoX) based on HIV/AIDS, which is going to beheld during 3 months. The organizing committee of PBoX HIV/AIDS has prepared a pre-event to start the exciting project. At first, thispre-event was intended to become the opening event for Pbox HIV/AIDS of AIESEC LC Bandung 2010-2011. Buteventually the organizing committee has decided that it was best to be hold as the pre-event. Originally this eventwas conducted by Komisi Penanggulangan AIDS (KPA) of Bandung city in coordination with some governmentalinstitution and other NGOs concerning HIV/AIDS. This event was consisted of a series of events before the World
HIV AIDS Day and was closed by the closing event on the 1st
of December to commemorate the AIDS Day all over the world.n December 1 st 2010, the event was started with the long march by 2010 students from 12 high schoolsaround Bandung. The long march took a route from each high school directly to Bandung Indah Plaza (BIP). Thecrowd started at 7.00 AM and was expected to arrive at BIP around 9.00 AM. After the high school students arrivedat BIP, the protocol staff from the government took over the control of the event and started the protocolary eventwhich involved Mr. Dada Rosada, the major of Bandung city as well as the president of Komisi PenanggulanganAIDS (KPA) of Bandung. During the protocolary event, the declaration speech from high school students was deliv-ered, stating their stands to fight HIV, announcement of people or groups who have rendered services to fight andprevent HIV, and also a speech from Mr. Dada Rosada and the performance from Bandungs local entertainer.Inthis pre-event, AIESEC LC Bandung, especially the team of PBoX HIV/AIDS, took part in 2 activities under thewhole event, which was coordinating high school participants during the long march (in coordination with other NGOs) and delivering the declaration speech Youth Around the World Against HIV/AIDS to the society. 13 AIESECers from LC Bandung joined the long march as the coordinator for high school participants. They weresplitted in 5 high schools and acted as long march coordinators in the assigned high school together with other people from various NGOs. The long march went very well and was under control.During the declaration speech Youth Around The world Against HIV/AIDS, two AIESEC LC Bandung membersalong with Bonang, the organizing committee president of PBoX HIV/AIDS, came up to the stage as the represen-tatives of college students, while a high school student was reading the declaration speech, and received a sym-bolical tree from Mr. Dada Rosada. The pre-event was a big success. The organizingcommittee and members of AIESEC LC Bandung have successfully spread the newsand promoted about the event of PBoX HIV AIDS and also the prevention of HIV itself by

My Exchange Story :)
Having extraordinary experience abroad was a
wonderful present for me. Six weeks stayed in
Malaysia and did HIV AIDS project, gave me a great
experience that I would never forget entire my life. I
met new friends and learnt a lot from people there. I
had so much fun. I found a colorful internship!
AIESEC Global Internship Program has given me a
new vision, our care to others enriches our soul.
Challenge myself was my the reason for joining
AIESEC Exchange. You have to leave the city of your comfort and go into
the wilderness of your intuition. What youll discover
will be wonderful.Hows your exchange story?
Siti Dewi Aisyah, 22 years old, Padjadjaran Univer-sity, Faculty of Communications, Turkey, Colours of Society
I choose Turkey because there are many friendswho have been there and I think it's still familiar enoughfor Moslems. But, I was surprised because it was differentfrom our country. Soon, I adapted to the way they live.I got Colours of Society project which I had to teach Eng-lish for disabled people. First time, I was afraid of facingthem and it wasn't easy to teach autistic and down-syndrome children because they just wanted to dance, sing and play cards. I approached them through it, Itaught them english by pictures from the cards we played.
And finally, they could understand basic English. There, life wasn't as easy as I thought. I had to move 3times. But, It didn't matter to me since I could adapt tomany people with different backgrounds.I had plenty of joyful and fruitful moments which I willnever forget. I had new families and new friends. I trav-eled to some cities that were so beautiful!
AIESEC gets me to reach my dreams. It was one of myplans having internship abroad. I could improve my Eng-lish and make me learn how to survive in other country. Now, I can tell the world that I'm an AIESECer

Hi! My name is Rini. I just graduated from Bandung Institute of Technology,Now, Im anExchange Participant in Pinglin Township, Taiwan. I started my project on October 25th, 2010,and I will finish it on January 14th, 2011. My project is about education. I teach English tostudents in Pinglin Junior High School. I do the teaching with another EP from New Zealand, hisname is Ben.Ben and I have to teach the students with the lowest English grades in their classes. So, how can teachers who cant speak Chinese teach students who can only speak Chinese? I
asked them Whats your name?, and they replied with Whats your name?. And when I saidMy name is Rini, they said the same words again: My name is Rini.Even some of them dontknow how to write their English name! But things are getting much better now. We speak a littleChinese, they speak a little English, and we all still speak much body language :D.The studentsand the teachers are very nice. Many students like to come to the office to have a chat; give uscakes and candies; ask us to join the sport or music class; or just to say hi. There is a studentwho loves to hug me and says I love you. Shes really cute, and she laughs a lot. Sometimes Ihang out or play games with the teachers, and even with their families. My hostfamily is very nice.My hostfather is the mayor of Pinglin (and I knew it after 2 weeks stay, lol). My hostmother is avery good cook. She likes to take me and the children to go around Taipei and Pinglin: to thetemple, river, tea field, museum, shopping mall, night market, and also saloon. And we curled our
hair together! Grandma and grandpa really love crabs. We can have crabs for five times aweek, and its after dinner. No wonder I gain weight here :P
This is only a little part of my experience here. A paper is not enough if I have to tell youmore crazy experiences like doing lots of fun with Aiesecers and EPs; getting lost;celebrating Pinglins anniversary by visiting the neighbors; travelling around Taiwan;watching school puppet competition; having an admirer who stopped me on my way toschool and said I love you; and more upcoming unforgettable moments I will have here.Thank you AIESEC for giving me this chance!
Guys, they are EPs that still doing their exchange. And nowyour turn to make a story about your exchange.Time to liv-ing in diversity and exchanging culture :D
