Configuration and CITRIX Setup Guide

Note

For PCSB & Vestigo User

• PACE installation is required, kindly contact mpm.dataadmin@petronas.com for

installation

• Must connect to PETRONAS VPN prior access to PACE

For Other PACs User

• PACE access will be connected through Citrix, you may refer to following slides below

for Citrix setup and PACE configuration

• User is required to configure 2 times as we are using 2 servers for Citrix access load

balance

• User may direct access to https://myapps.petronas.com for future PACE access

once Citrix setup and PACE configuration is completed

Citrix Workspace Setup

1. Search for Citrix Workspace for Windows

2. Click on Citrix Workspace app 2103.1 for Windows or the latest on if possible

3. Click Download as highlighted in Red Box

4. Wait until download completed

5. Once finished, choose to Open it

6. Choose YES when prompted under User Account Control

7. Click Start to start the installation

8. Tick ‘I Accept License Agreement’ and click Next

9. Don’t tick on ‘Enable Sigle Sign-on’, just proceed to click Next

11. Installation will now start with installing prerequisites, please wait

12. Click on Finish once installation completed.

13. You can choose either to restart now or later. It will not impact the setup.

14. Either rebooted or not, you can proceed with this step number 15 below after installation.

15. Open your browser, key in this URL : https://myapps.petronas.com

Recommended browser: Edge or Chrome

16. You will be getting below screen. Login using your outlook ID and Password. Make sure

Domain is “petroweb.dir” as per screenshot below. Once done, click Log On.

17. Tick on ‘Do not show this window automatically at sign-in’, click close.

18. Choose APPS as highlighted in RED box

19. You will be seeing available apps that has been registered under your name.

Choose ‘PETRONAS – PACE’, click on the button highlighted in RED

20. Choose Open

21. The application will start. If you received a downloaded file, just choose open.

22. Choose OK when prompted. “You may need to roll over your mouse to the OK button”

23. The application will continue to start, wait until the bar fully loaded and the application

will be launched.

PACE Configuration

1. For first time user, you need to configure your PACE before you can proceed to use it.

User will need to configure 2 times as Citrix is running on 2 servers for load balancing

purposes.

2. Configure PACE Login Configuration by clicking “Login” tab.

Fill in the following information:

Login Configuration

Source type : Sqlserver

Provider : SqlServer

Server : 10.14.27.128

Security : database

Login Id : ovs

Password : ovs

Database : OVS_PROJECT_DB_PACE_5.0

3. Click ‘Next’

4. Input Application Login Configuration as below:

5. Click ‘Next’

7. Click ‘Next’ and key in License Address: 27000@10.14.21.33

• User may launch PACE by double click on ‘PETRONAS – PACE’ icon on desktop.

• Alternatively, you may search ‘OVS 5.0’ in window search bar and run it

Other PAC

1. Access PACE via https://myapps.petronas.com

2. Sign in CITRIX using Petroweb ID and password

3. Choose APPS as highlighted in RED box

4. You will be seeing available apps that has been registered under your name.

Choose ‘PETRONAS – PACE’, click on the button highlighted in RED.

You may favorite the app by clicking the star icon on top left

5. Choose Open

6. The application will start. If you received a downloaded file, just choose open. (Edge)
