WHAT IS IMAX?

IMAX is a motion picture film format which has the capacity to record and display images far greater size and resolution than conventional film systems.

The IMAX system was developed by Graeme Ferguson, Roman Kroitor, Robert Kerr, and William C. Shaw and the first IMAX film, Tiger Child, was shown in 1970.

Originally in the United States, IMAX theaters mainly were used in museums and science theaters.

IMAX films are far more costly but the experience is well worth it!
