ETS Designed and Instal led modif ied exhaust systems to four exist ing gas generators , ut i l iz ing Miratech si lencers, to

capture enough waste heat for the creat ion of 5.6MW of addit ional mine cool ing capacity v ia absorpt ion chi l lers.

Whi le only a relat ively smal l project for us, instal l ing the back up power generator at the brand new IKEA faci l i ty in

Canberra such that i t would meet str ict noise pol lut ion requirements was nevertheless a chal lenge.

The project also had t ight deadl ines around the handover and opening dates for the faci l i ty . We therefore had to ensure

everything was ful ly coordinated ahead of t ime so that , once our four -week window for instal lat ion opened up, we would

be able to get in complete our work and get out again within the required t imeframe.

We achieved al l t imeframes and deadl ines and the project was completed on-t ime and under budget.

Al l instal lat ion and commissioning was completed without incident keeping our zero harm record in tact.

And, IKEA being the iconic brand that i t is , we are proud to be associated with i ts new faci l i ty in Canberra.
