cause a mess.
Step 10: Slowly, secure and zip lock the bag,
making sure there is no air trapped
inside. After that , be sure to check
that there are no gaps on the bag .
Step 11: Put the bag of mixture into the
bowl filled with ice.
Step 12: Now, using both hands start to knead the bag as if
you are giving it a massage. DO it gently to pre-
vent the salty water from seeping into the bag, if
possible try to keep the top from getting sub-

Be careful to take short breaks as it may be really
cold for your hands
Step 13: After that step, along with the
bowl of ice, put it in the freez-

Step 15: After 3 hours use a spoon and
scoop out the mix
Your ice cream is done!!!
Serve it up with extra
toppings and a cool re-
freshment for
your friends!
To make ice cream, it has to be formed under a tem-
perature of –3°. However water freezes at 0°C, thus
preventing us from stirring and mixing the icecream..
This is why we need salt. By adding salt to the Ice, it
dissolves in the water that melts making the water
impure with sodium ions. This then decreases the
freezing point of the water to a lower temperature
allowing us to make icecream
Constantly stirring the icecream as it freezes prevents
giant ice crystals from forming and allows air bubbles
to get trapped making the ice cream smooth.
