TELL THEM FROM ME ‐ From next week, our students in Years 4‐6 will par cipate in the Tell Them From Mr Survey for 2020. A note has been sent home and parents only need to return the note if they DO NOT want their child in Year 4‐6 to par cipate. The survey provides us with valuable feedback on what our students think about school life, how engaged they ae with the school and the different ways that teachers interact with them. Staff in schools will NOT be able to iden fy individual students from their responses. Responses are confiden al. A parent survey will be sent out later in the year. PHONES and TECHNOLOGY DEVICES ‐ Parents and students are advised that Primary School students must not use personal devices during class, at recess and lunch. If students are not feeling well, they must come to the Office, where staff members will phone parents. Students must not call parents during the school day. STUDENT SUCCESS ‐ Congratula ons to Ava and Chloe who gained selec on at the Zone Football Trials. Best wishes for success at the next level girls. INTERNATIONAL WOMAN’S DAY BREAKFAST AT ASQUITH GIRLS H.S. ‐
Today Mrs Bu erworth, our girl Captains and Vice Captains, Ava, Gretel and Keisha and I a ended the above event. Once again, it was a heart warming event that recognizes the importance of respect for both women and men and the vital roles they play in schools, families and the Community. Asquith Girls’ High School is the sister school for Abdara Girls’ School in Afghanistan and over the years has provided resources to
support the school. This year, the first girl from Abdara Girls’ School graduated from University as a lawyer. Without the assistance of Asquith Girls’ High, many girls in Panjshir Valley would not have had the opportunity to a end school and receive educa onal opportuni es. Great work Asquith Girls.
