TELL THEM FROM ME From next week, our students in Years 46 will parƟcipate in the Tell Them From Mr Survey for 2020. A note has been sent home and parents only need to return the note if they DO NOT want their child in Year 46 to parƟcipate. The survey provides us with valuable feedback on what our students think about school life, how engaged they ae with the school and the dierent ways that teachers interact with them. Stain schools will NOT be able to idenƟfy individual students from their responses. Responses are condenƟal. A parent survey will be sent out later in the year. PHONES and TECHNOLOGY DEVICES Parents and students are advised that Primary School students must not use personal devices during class, at recess and lunch. If students are not feeling well, they must come to the Oce, where stamembers will phone parents. Students must not call parents during the school day. STUDENT SUCCESS CongratulaƟons to Ava and Chloe who gained selecƟon at the Zone Football Trials. Best wishes for success at the next level girls. INTERNATIONAL WOMAN’S DAY BREAKFAST AT ASQUITH GIRLS H.S. Today Mrs BuƩerworth, our girl Captains and Vice Captains, Ava, Gretel and Keisha and I aƩended the above event. Once again, it was a heart warming event that recognizes the importance of respect for both women and men and the vital roles they play in schools, families and the Community. Asquith Girls’ High School is the sister school for Abdara Girls’ School in Afghanistan and over the years has provided resources to support the school. This year, the rst girl from Abdara Girls’ School graduated from University as a lawyer. Without the assistance of Asquith Girls’ High, many girls in Panjshir Valley would not have had the opportunity to aƩend school and receive educaƟonal opportuniƟes. Great work Asquith Girls. `tÜxx fâÅÑàÉÇ Principal From the Principal... 11 March, 2020 HORNSBY NORTH PUBLIC SCHOOL Ida Street, Hornsby, NSW, 2077 Phone : 9987 4605 Fax : 9482 2527 Before/After School Care : 9482 3484 Email : [email protected] Web site : www.hornsbynth-p.schools.nsw.gov.au Thank you to the parents who aƩended our rst Hornsby North Cultural Community CommiƩee (HNCCC). One school in the area usually takes out rst place in Swimming year aŌer year, so it was nice to have a change of ownership at the top.
