Hitler mustaches on Obama offend Newton residents

Voters have been both disturbed and offended by the campaign tactics of LaRouche party

candidate for Congress Rachel Brown, but she said she is simply telling the public the truth.

Workers for the Brown campaign for the 4th Congressional District seat currently held byBarney Frank, D-Newton, have been seen throughout Newton and Brookline with images of

President Barack Obama doctored to give him an Adolf Hitler-style mustache.

Newton resident Miko Grenoble said that while two young men were practicing their FirstAmendment rights, their verbal assault impaired her freedom of movement while trying to pick

up dinner at Shaws.

They were set up so you couldnt get in and out of [the] doors without running into their table,

and these two guys badgering you, Grenoble said. I found it very offensive to have a picture ofObama with a Hitler mustache on. I think it is an affront to all Jewish and non-Jewish people. Ifind the pictures of Obama very offensive, very disturbing and totally disrespectful.

Police Lt. Bruce Apotheker said Grenoble is not the only resident to complain about the signage.

People will see it and they think there is something wrong, so they give us a call, Apothekersaid. Weve had officers respond. I dont think anybody has been locked up because of it. I

think people are amazed they can get away with it, but it is freedom of speech.

Brown said each proposal made since Obama took office has not looked out for the interest of

the population, but the interest of the international financial system, and the photos are arepresentation of the truth.

Obamas health-care policy is modeled after what Hitler did in 1939, she said. Thats thesame policy Obama is now forcing on the U.S. against the will of Congress. Its a policy that is

going to result in millions of deaths. Sometimes you have to tell the truth and sometimes peopledont like it, but that doesnt mean you dont do it.

Brown further stated that being a leader means telling the truth and educating the public aboutthe consequences of certain policies. To her, this means preventing a repeat of the gruesome

events that took place during Hitlers regime.

What we need to do now is change these policies, Brown said. Many people will lose theirlives as a result of these budget cuts happening on a city and state level. If we dont change that

policy, we will see the collapse of this nation and the world economy. People should support myfight for these policies and for stopping the presidents fascist policies.

Despite her claims to be fighting to defend the citizens above all else, she may be hard-pressed

to find the citizen support she will need to be elected to Congress.

Its a malapropism to display the presidents picture in such a disrespectful way when he was

democratically elected by the people of the United States, Grenoble said. I dont think that any

elected official deserves that kind of contempt and symbolism that is offensive to all Jewish andnon-Jewish people. If there is one thing I hate, it is ignorance.
