The Hearts can be used individually or in a combination of sizes can be used to create beautiful Heart designs.

I have coloured the Hearts for you to help you easily identify the size of Heart used.

Each Heart is stitched as an individual unit - sewing in the thread tails.

Stitch the 6" Heart first.Stitch the 5" Heart 1/2" up from the base.

Using the Westalee Design TempLeeQuilt Technique you can applique Hearts.

Stacked Hearts from the Base Using Different Sized Hearts

This Block was quilted using the Westalee Design Decorative Thread Ruler Foot and Leonie West’s technique for quilting with Westalee Templates and Rulers using decorative threads.

Quilted using a very small zigzag stitch and the thread used is a 1/8" metallic braid.

Our Hearts can be stacked from the base using 2 or more sizes. For base stacked Hearts always start at the base. I have used th 6" x 6" Heart as my largest Heart, but you could use any size as the largest heart to suit your design.
