of the fastest growing industries, and the largest areas of employment in the world.

Our Greystone graduates enjoy a wide variety of positions in many career areas. The program is offered

in 18 month periods, each composed of a 50% academic and a 50% paid internship component.

D I P L O M A

ENTRY REQUIREMENT

Students who are interested in attending

Greystone College must have completed

(graduated from) their final year of

general schooling.

Successful applicants will be positive,

proactive, and independent.

International Students must

demonstrate a high intermediate level of

English with our online written test and

arranged speaking interview.

Note: The online written test is exempt if iBT

70, IELTS 6, ILSC I4 or CLB8 is presented.

The online written test is exempt if ILSC’s

Hospitality Management Preparation

Certificate program is completed.

Written and Oral English Tests: Applicants

are required to take the THCM on-line written

test. Once successful with the written test,

a phone interview will be arranged with a

Greystone College Academic Director to

assess the spoken English level as well as

personal motivation for this program.

If an applicant fails to meet the minimum

requirements, they cannot be waived by

either the institution or the student.

PROGRAM OVERVIEW

Academic Studies Tourism and Hospitality Training at Greystone

College, ILSC’s sister school that specializes in

vocational programs. Students will benefit from

qualified instructors with years of experience in

the industry. Classes are Monday to Friday 9am to

4pm (one hour for lunch).

Tutorial Study: Students must return for a 2 week

course after the internship placement.

InternshipGreystone Internship Coordinators will help

prepare you for securing an internship, and for an

optional fee, can also offer guaranteed interviews.

Internship Service Fee includes:

Permit sponsorship, documentation support,

interview preparation, résumé building, job

preparation, explanation of government reporting

procedures, and placement tips.

Standard Placement Fee (optional):

Basic service and up to 2 guaranteed interviews.

Premium Service Fee (optional):

Basic service and up to 5 guaranteed interviews.

Internship hours cannot exceed the study hours

and the programs are designed to allow students

to work an average of 20 to 25 hours per week.

The internship positions vary depending on an

employer’s needs, and the student’s English and

professional skills. For some placements, the

precise internship position may be determined

once they arrive at placement locations.

Students who take these job opportunities may be offered
