Dear Daughter
We Received your two last letters the last one last evening in which you write that you
want to come home and see us and that you want to make some preparation for the fourth of
July. If you wish to come home so as to return again to Cambridge to spend the 4 th of July you
must write to me immediately and let me know and I will come or send after you in time to take
you back but if you would like to spend the 4 th at home I would prefer waiting till the 2 d day of
July before coming or sending for you
you can do as you please in relation to the 4 th spend the time at home or in Cambridge but write in time for me to come for you if you decide to spend the 4 th at Cambridge you write
that you want a pair of shoes you can get them there and I will pay for them when I come after
you
I am told that you have not any India Rubbers with you for which I regret. you ought to
have been supplied with a pair and hope that you have not taken cold in consequence of being
without them
