FANS SHALL ENERGIZE THE ERV AND MODULATE THE AIRFLOW FROM MINIMUM TO MAXIMUM AS REQUIRED. PROVIDE AN AIRFLOW
CONTROL BY ZONE CO2 SENSOR MONITORING. DURING UNOCCIPIED HOURS THE CO2 SENSORS AND THE TOILET ROOM EXHAUST
700 CFM EXHAUST AND FRESH AIR VENTILATION. THE ERV SHALL HAVE A MAXIMUM VENTILATION RATE OF 1500 CFM BASED

THE HEAT PUMP SHALL RETURN TO ITS UNOCCUPIED MODE OF OPERATION.
HEAT PUMP CONTROLS WILL AUTOMATICALLY RESET TO OCCUPIED MODE. FIFTEEN MINUTES AFTER NO OCCUPANCY IS SENSED,
HEAT PUMPS SHALL MONITOR ROOM OCCUPANCY. DURING THE UNOCCUPIED PERIODS, IF THE ROOM BECOMES OCCUPIED, THE
HEATING TEMPERATURE SET POINT.
WINTER SPACE TEMPERATURE SUCH THAT THE SPACE TEMPERATURE DROPS BELOW AN OWNER ESTABLISHED EMERGENCY
AUXILLARY ELECTRIC HEAT SHALL BE INITIATED INTO AUXILIARY HEAT MODE IF THE GEOTHERMAL SYSTEM FAILS TO MAINTAIN
SYSTEM SHALL MONITOR: FAN STATUS, LAT, EAT, COMPRESSOR STATUS, AND ZONE TEMPERATURE. THE HEAT PUMPS WITH
LOOP CIRCULATOR VFD SHALL MAINTAIN PRESSURE THEREBY MODULATING FLOW TO MATCH HEAT PUMP LOADING. THE DDC
VALVE WHICH OPENS TO ALLOW FLOW TO HEAT PUMP COMPRESSOR UPON CALL FOR HEATING OR COOLING. THE GEOTERMAL
CYCLE AS REQUIRED TO MAINTAIN ZONE SETPOINT TEMPERATURE. EACH HEAT PUMP (EXCEPT ONE) IS TO HAVE A SOLENOID
DURING OCCUPIED MODE THE HEAT PUMP FAN SHALL OPERATE CONTINUALLY AND THE COOLING AND HEATING MODE SHALL
TYPICAL HEAT PUMP:
A MEANS OF ENERGY TRACKING VIA FLOW RATE AND TEMPERATURE DIFFERENTIALS.
THE HEAT PUMP LOOP SYSTEM. ALSO A SUPPLY AND RETURN TEMPERATURE SENSOR SHALL BE INSTALLED SO AS TO PROVIDE
A WATER FLOW MONITORING DEVICE IS TO BE INSTALLED IN THE HEAT PUMP LOOP SO AS TO MONITOR THE FLOW RATE OF
AND THE STAND-BY PUMP SHALL BE AUTOMATICALLY ENERGIZED. THE GEOTHERMAL LOOP IS TO CIRCULATE CONTINUALLY.
TO GET EQUAL RUN TIME ON EACH CIRCULATOR PUMP. SHOULD THE PRIMARY PUMP FAIL AN ALARM SHALL BE INITIATED
AS MONITORED BY LOOP DIFFERENTIAL PRESSURE SENSOR. AN ALTERNATING SCHEDULE SHALL BE ESTABLISHED SO AS
THE PRIMARY PUMP WILL OPERATE THRU A VARIABLE FREQUENCY DRIVE TO MAINTAIN SYSTEM DIFFERENTIAL PRESSURE
GEOTHERMAL CIRCULATOR PUMP SYSTEM:
COMBINATION TEMPERATURE AND CO2 SENSOR DEVICE IS PREFERRED OVER TWO SEPARATE DEVICES.
MODULATE THE ENERGY RECOVERY VENTILATION SYSTEM FROM LOW AIR FLOW MODE TO FULL CAPCITY MODE. A
THERMOSTATS. CO2 SENSORS WILL BE PROVIDED TO MONITOR THE INDOOR ENVIRONMENTAL AIR QUALITY AND TO
HEAT PUMPS IN THE OFFICE AREAS SHALL BE CONTROLLED THRU THE DDC SYSTEM AS WELL AS VIA ADJUSTABLE ZONE
