The frontier is the border between
what is known and familiar, and
what lies beyond. It calls those who
have an adventurous spirit who are
willing to risk leaving behind what is
known to try something new, with
the hope that this new thing might
ultimately hold life.
The frontier is not the place for the
faint of heart. It requires a willingness
to try new things, and the humility to
try again. It requires adaptability to a
new environment and the agility to
respond to change. It also requires
an underlying steadfastness of faith,
perseverance towards hope, and
rootedness in love.
FRONTIER
At Fresh Hope Pioneering we are pursuing the vision of growing and
reproducing, dynamic, Christ loving communities marked by joy. We
see some of these communities being established in creative and
adventurous ways that move beyond the known and familiar ways
these communities currently gather. We are looking for people who
Jesus is calling to the frontier of His Kingdom work of reaching
people with his gospel, and to pioneer new ways of doing so.
.
We want to gather these people together for a year of discipleship
with the aim of together being formed by the vision such that
it becomes a deep conviction and a way of life, and to provide
resources and guidance to translate the vision into action.
We are calling this year Frontier, as it is a year to gather together at
the border in preparation for being sent into what lies beyond.
