MYSA is in the process of updating its registration and soccer management system in partnership with Affinity Sports. Changes in processes will be reflected in many of the practices that MYSA leagues have relayed on for years.
Please be patient during this season while we role out the new system which will inevitably benefit all members.
As an example, here is a new team code format:
Bring To Each And Every Match– New This Fall
2016 MYSA Fall League Official Game Roster is the document you (your team) need to print on game day and will serve as the competitive match report and player passes. This roster will have registered team members pictures. This will be available for you in your Affinity Sports access. This printout must be current with play ups (club pass) and any suspensions. Once you print this on game day, no changes will be allowed or written in. Again, this should be printed on game day and is REQUIRED to be give to the referee at check-in.
Again - the 2016 MYSA Fall League Official Game Roster is required at all matches.
Mobile Device (phone, tablet etc.) for display of Digital Passes, or other MYSA approved passes for team members - players and adults. This is required as a back up to the photo roster and maybe viewed at the request of the Referee.
Medical release forms
(keep secure or locked in vehicle in the event of an emergency)

2. Prior to each match on game day, properly assign any play ups, confirm match number and print for presentation to officials at check in.
3. This is required at each game. Forfeits will be scored against any team not providing a game day 2016 MYSA Fall League Official Game Roster
7
Required: Uploading Photos
Each Player and Coach will need to have a photo
uploaded into the system to create photo roster and
digital passes.
Coaches or Managers can do this through the “player
information” tab by clicking on a player’s name from
your team’s roster.
Please complete this well in advance of your first game
to ensure that every player can be properly identified
by the referee on game day.
Please remember that the 2016 MYSA Fall League
Official Game Roster must include photos of every
player to be valid. (No picture, no play!)
8
Ejected Participants and Adults Players/Adults who are red carded or ejected must leave the field.
Referees will report ejections with their game reporting. Do not attempt to play a red carded player or use an ejected adult to coach until you verify a suspension is served. Player passes and the 2016 MYSA Fall League Official Game Roster will show suspended players or coaches, when printed on game day and or are entered by the Referee, after the match where the incident occurred.
Rule 7.12.1.b.3.d. – Suspension will be served for the team to which the player is officially registered.
Adults must also serve their suspension with the team in which they received it
This could mean 4 or more game suspension if coach multiple teams
See Rules: 7.12.1 and 9.0.3

Risk Management
MYSA recommends that each team has two registered adults at every game, practice, etc.
Do not leave any one child/player alone.
Player protection guidelines www.mnyouthsoccer.org Quick Links>Forms/Rules/Policies>Risk Management.
Each coach, assistant coach, team manager, club officer, etc. must register for an online criminal background check each soccer year (Sept 1 – Aug 31). Clubs provide information for any adult needing a background check in order to work with teams or players. This process can take time, so if you are adding a coach or manager, do so well in advance.
Questions regarding Concussion training should be directed to your club
21
Weather Policy
Cold, hot or severe weather can change a game, shorten halves, adjust uniform rules or create a need to reschedule.
At a game site, referees have all final decision to implement weather policy rules. Referees can also call league games before or during the match.
Facility managers or facility policy can also over rule MYSA rules and referees including the possibility to require a game to be cancelled or rescheduled (such as flooding or dangerous conditions).
Plan to arrive at scheduled field –weather is different in different areas
MYSA weather related policy and procedures can be accessed at: http://www.mnyouthsoccer.org/page/show/801253-mysa-weather-policy
