Digital walk-through Jordan Casteel's "Within Reach"
Jordan Casteel’s exhibition “Within Reach” is currently hanging on the second floor of the
temporarily shuttered New Museum. The situation is somewhat paradoxical, given that the
show’s most prominent theme is closeness — something that’s been severely disrupted by the
coronavirus crisis. Yet that also makes it a good time to look at Ms. Casteel’s work however we can
— in a digital walk-through and in the catalog — and think about the vision of community it
offers.

The World's 15 Top Virtual Tours
While travel has come to a near standstill during the coronavirus pandemic, technology is
allowing you to visit almost any place on the planet in the blink of an eye. According to Google
Keyword Planner data, searches for the term “virtual tour” increased seven times—from 1,300 in
February to almost 10,000 in March, when governments around the world began locking down
countries and cities. And as billions of people around the world continue to shelter in place, the
numbers keep rising.
