Why I chose this painting…Why I chose this painting…

I chose the painting View of Toledo simply because I like the way it looks. When I look at this painting, it is hard to put into words what I feel about it. I am the kind of person who enjoys staying inside during storms because I love seeing the bright flash of the lightning followed by the booming thunder, and the constant howl of the wind. This painting reminds me of just that, so it makes me feel like I am in my warm cozy house on top of that hill watching the storm pass over the city. Also, I think it is just an amazing view in the first place that I will never get tired of looking at it.
