Negative-true logic signals
By adding a leading asterisk to a PMC signal name, it is regarded as a negative-true logic signal. This simplifies the connection of negative-true PMC signals with FANUC PICTURE controls. Example: DOOROPEN (regarded as positive-true signal) *DOOROPEN (regarded as negative-true signal)
Screen data update via network
Update the screen data and FP driver in the CNC from a computer connected to the CNC via network. This eliminates BOOT screen operation for updating and simplifies debugging. Not available for: PMi-A, iHMI display unit

Function symbols
FP functions and arguments can be defined as a symbol. The symbol can be used as a property of a FP function or a FP script. Use self-explanatory symbol names to make the FP project better understandable. Example: ReadNCStatus[1] → FP_Script[6_1] Recent projects list

Character strings in FP scripts
Character strings stored in PMC area, P-code variable or key input buffer can be accessed by new FP functions for reading and writing strings. This simplifies the handling of strings that shall be modifiable by the machine operator, e.g. workpiece names or tool names, without modifying the FP project. The maximum string length is 255 bytes. Custom screen position and size
The position and size of a custom screen can be set to arbitrary values. This is especially useful if you are using a 21.5” and 19” display unit.
Home screen notification mark (iHMI)
The notification mark is displayed at the FANUC PICTURE icon on the home screen. The message can be displayed in the Information Center.

Automatic screen enlargement
Screens created by FANUC PICTURE can be automatically enlarged or reduced according to the display unit size. Without changing the original screen design and edit size, a screen can be displayed on multiple machines with different screen sizes. This function is only available for Panel iH and Panel iH Pro.
